SOA Readiness and Security Assessment

• Review the business and technical goals and objectives that can be achieved by using Service-Oriented Architecture. This starts by looking at what the business is trying to achieve within the existing constraints and opportunities.
• Work with the architects and key customer stakeholders to identify SOA opportunities and challenges, and select dominant business workflows that have the best opportunities for success.
• Perform security vulnerability assessments to identify gaps and threats, and recommend security best practices. By looking at security as a spectrum of simple, though sophisticated requirements, organizations can implement the “must-have” security functions today and plan for increased security based on future business needs and emerging threats.
• Build SOA roadmap and action plan that outlines a step-by-step approach for implementing a secure SOA solution.
